
About Jessica
Jessica Loffredo is seeking a third term on the Rocky Hill Board of Education, bringing with her more than 26 years of experience as a dedicated public school educator. Throughout her career, she has taught students from Kindergarten through fourth grade. She believes that every child deserves a supportive and engaging learning environment. Jessica holds degrees in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts.
Beyond the classroom, Jessica has been an active leader and advocate for her colleagues and students. She serves as Vice President of her district’s teachers’ union and works closely with the Connecticut Education Association to ensure that educators’ voices are heard. Her passion for advocacy extends to children living with Epilepsy—a cause close to her heart. Jessica played a key role in rallying for the passage of Connecticut’s Seizure Safe Schools Legislation, enacted in 2023, which requires all school personnel to be trained in seizure safety. She also serves on the Board of Directors for The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut, continuing her commitment to raising awareness and advancing legislation that protects and empowers students living with Epilepsy in Connecticut.

A proud wife and mother of three, Jessica has chosen Rocky Hill Schools for her own children because she believes in the district’s ability to provide a top-quality education. She is dedicated to ensuring that all students—regardless of background, learning style, or ability—have access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. In her spare time, Jessica is a student of American Sign Language, deepening her commitment to accessibility and inclusion for all learners.
With her blend of classroom expertise, leadership experience, and unwavering advocacy for students, Jessica is committed to continuing her service on the Rocky Hill Board of Education and strengthening the district for every child and family.
