Rocky Hill civil society, political, and religious groups have worked with the Town of Rocky Hill to support the residents of Concierge apartments who have been evacuated from their homes for safety. Support has come in the form of food and supplies, money, information and physical support. Below are a few examples:
- Rocky Hill Democrats collected food and more than $1,600 in gift cards to donate to the town Food Pantry, as well as mobilzed volunteers to evacuate residents on Thursday and Friday night. Resources came from residents as well as local businesses, including West Side Marketplace and Arch II.
- On Saturday, Vallabhdham Temple provided meals to 47 Concierge tenants and is continuing to provide food aid.
- The Rocky Hill Silent Book Club members donated food supplies.
- St Josephine Bakhita Parish organized a Souper Bowl which gathered food aid and $6,000 in donations.
