About Mukesh
“After finishing college studies with a bachelor’s degree in economics, I married my college sweetheart, Bella, in 1978. I came to USA in 1981.
“I started my printing business in 1985. PBM PRINTERS & Copy Center is now on Cromwell Avenue in Rocky Hill. I’ve lived in Rocky Hill since 1987. My son went to the Rocky Hill Public School system.
“I served on the Rocky Hill Town Council from 2017- 2019. I worked with Mayor Claudio Baio, & Mayor Joe Kochanek, jr.
“I was the Vice President for the India Association of Greater Hartford from 1997 – 1999, and I was the President for the India Association of Central Connecticut in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.”
Why are you running again?
I have strong desire to improve the place where I live, work, and raise families. This includes addressing issues that affect residents’ daily lives, from local services to quality-of-life concerns.
I want to:
- keep Rocky Hill affordable.
- bring back transparency to the full Council & members of the public.
- ensure that community’s voice is heard and that needs of their constituents are reflected in council decisions.
- bring positive change by improving the efficiency and integrity of local government and ensuring responsible spending of taxpayer dollars.
