Our town’s Planning and Zoning Commission is updating the Rocky Hill Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) and they want your input.
What is the POCD?
The document is a long range advisory plan outlining the community’s goal and vision for the future. These plans must be updated every ten years per State law. Over the next decade, aspects of the plan will be tackled by various bodies within the town.
The Planning and Zoning Commission wants input from the the public. You can find the Town’s current Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) on the Town’s website.
How can I engage?
The town staff will invite members of the public to speak. If you have an issue – for example, if you’d like to see more affordable housing, or you want to see a bike trail in town – you can speak and explain why it is important to you. That’s it!
