DESCRIPTION:From the Office of Congressman Larson: \n\n\n\n\nDear Friends\,  \n\n\n\nI will be hosting a forum at West Hartford Town Hall on Wednesday\, May 28th at 6:00 PM. We ask that you register for the event HERE\, as space is limited. Please bring your ticket as proof of registration.  \n\n\n\nThis week\, House Republicans voted to pass their tax plan by one vote – a bill that cuts Medicaid and SNAP nutrition benefits for millions of Americans and could lead to $500 billion in cuts to Medicare in order to pay for tax cuts that disproportionately benefit the wealthy. \n\n\n\nIt also does not include President Trump’s promise to stop taxing Social Security. Under their plan\, 24 million Americans will still pay taxes on their benefits. I opposed these devastating cuts and unfulfilled promises\, and am focused on not only protecting but strengthening programs like Medicare and Social Security.    \n\n\n\nAs your representative\, I want to hear from you.
