DESCRIPTION:From The CT Sierra Club \n\n\n\n\nJoin the Stop Project Maple campaign for an educational forum in Naugatuck at the Ion Foundation Community Room (270 Church St). At the forum\, speakers will share information about the proposed Project Maple pipeline expansion\, the impact of methane expansions\, such as Project Maple\, on climate change and the health and safety of our communities\, and how residents can take action. It will also include recently recorded footage from the Compressor Station located in Oxford\, which is along the pipeline route\, and shows the methane that leaks directly into our communities.

DESCRIPTION:From the Racial Justice Committee at the Rocky Hil Congregational Church: \n\n\n\n\n“Please join us for a gathering in support of marginalized communities on Sunday\, March 16 from 9-10 AM and with any luck continuing through Lent as part of our Lenten observance and commitment to justice. \n\n\n\nWhile we continue to financially support many marginalized groups\, there is an urgent need for us to physically stand in the storm with members of our church and the community. \n\n\n\nThis will be a peaceful gathering in support of the LGBTQ community\, Black lives\, Immigrants\, and all those being targeted in our country. Please invite like-minded friends but keep in mind our message is one of support and we want to avoid specific political attacks in our messaging.
